Who has time to waste?
The WHY: A well known DC University experienced a building on campus this summer with cooling difficulties. The Critical Services team at Boland received the call to come out and assess the problem.
The How: Several options were discussed. However, it was determined that the existing rooftop unit coils were restricting air flow and had to be removed. A temporary solution was quickly installed by our service department to distribute cooled air throughout the building and allow students to focus on their schoolwork.
The Solution: Students remained in class without any disruption to their schedule. Engineers designed a permanent solution to the building problem quickly. With the analysis of the service engineers, critical services acted immediately. This teamwork allows easy transition between the moving pieces of equipment and prompt service. The result was a seamless transition between a temporary installment and permanent solution without downtime.
