Carrollsburg partnered with Boland to implement a multi-phase plan to modernize their central equipment, acquire energy savings, and deliver innovative solutions to their tenants. They realized $365,000 in savings, and decreased 20% of energy usage.
Berkeley County Judicial Center is a 144,000 sq. ft., AECOM designed building located in Martinsburg, West Virginia that houses 9 courtrooms and 7 hearing rooms for the Circuit, Magistrate, and Family Courts. It was designed for an adaptive reuse of a 1920’s woolen mill, 1980’s outlet mall, and a 1990’s community and technical college.
The Gettysburg Museum was the first museum in Pennsylvania, and only the fourth museum nationwide, to achieve LEED Gold status with Boland’s geothermal chiller plant solution.
The Nationals' Stadium is the first LEED-certified green major professional sports stadium in the United States. It includes three air cooled chillers, 16 air handlers, over 300 VAV boxes as well as other terminal products.
The Washington Redskins trust Boland to control their home field, and practice field. After finding success with our comfort solutions at FedEx Field, they specified Trane equipment to inflate/condition the new Practice Bubble installed at Redskins Park.
More than 800,000 yearly visitors to the Washington Monument take in one of the world’s most notable skylines. This wouldn’t be possible without Boland preserving the view by putting the HVAC equipment in an underground mechanical room.
Boland provided 6,400 tons of Trane EarthWise™ CenTraVac™ Centrifugal Chillers for cooling capacity and chiller plant controls for Reagan National Airport and now provides ongoing preventive maintenance services.
The Kennedy Center was built in 1971, but by the 1990’s the original chillers were due to be replaced. Trane chillers were selected as an energy efficient upgrade for the facility.
