A new chilled loop system was installed in a local high school. The chilled loop still had a lot of iron and mud in the pipes caused by lack of treatment at start up. The fine mesh strainer on the new Clima-Cool chiller kept clogging, which caused the chiller to shut down.
Boland technician Joe Lane, installed a brand new Shelco filtration system on the chilled loop. After changing filters regularly for a month, the strainer cleared up significantly. The chiller began to operate as normal.
