Honoring Lou Boland Jr.

Lou Boland, Jr. (Louie) will always be remembered for his selfless commitment to our industry and our community. His true calling was in building lifetime friendships with customers, suppliers, and industry associates.

Louie was devoted to serving our industry, all things Irish, and to the Catholic Church. He served as President of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Metropolitan Washington (MCAMW) and President of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick. He was a long-time member of the Board of the Flax Trust, the John Carroll Society, and a founding board member of Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School. He was a strong supporter of Catholic Charities and Spring Hill College, from which he graduated in 1974.

The most important part of Louie's legacy is in the relationships he made. He had an innate ability to find common ground with everyone he met, and his memory of names, places, and experiences was remarkable. Louie truly never met a stranger!

Louie leaves behind a legacy of service, family, and friendships.
