Refrigerants are a hot topic in the HVAC industry. It's not a matter of if a change will come with refrigerants, it's when. Building owners, engineers, and contractors need to be aware of the upcoming federal, state, and local regulations that are under development. Starting January 1, 2024: HVAC companies can no longer sell chillers with R134A. Currently, R134A is in most chillers that are in buildings today. Tune in to listen to Boland’s Sales Team Leader, Kevin Bradley, on the recent updates and regulations on refrigerants that your building may have, and what you need to do before these regulations begin.
